Dairymen’s, a private place where families and friends enjoy the unspoiled beauty of nature in a relaxed environment, is hiring staff for the 2022 summer season.
Dairymen’s is a seasonal property with the Summer being our busiest time.  All positions run from May through mid October.  Start and end dates are negotiable depending on your availability. Training is provided and experience in each position is not required but is preferred.  We do hire H-2B workers that are currently in country as noted in specific positions.  We do not sponsor H2B workers who are out of country. Due to the exclusive nature of our club, we also run background checks on all applicants before any offer is made.
Cooks 
FOOD SERVICE

Cooks will be responsible for preparing meals as directed by the Chef and Sous Chef. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner which may result in split shifts. Cooks will be setting up and breaking down their stations, doing prep work and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. They are also responsible for cleaning the line area after each shift and any other tasks as assigned by the Chef or Sous Chef. Cooks will also need to follow all designated health and safety protocols. Any other tasks as assigned by Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager. In country H-2B workers will be considered for this position.
Dishwashers

Dishwashers will be responsible for washing and storing all dishes, glassware, utensils and cooking equipment. They are also responsible for taking out the trash and recycling, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen common areas, floors, coolers, staff area and any other tasks as assigned by the Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager or Dining Room Manager. In country H-2B workers will be considered for this position.
Housekeeping Attendants
HOUSEKEEPING

Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining cabins, lodge common areas and restrooms. They will be deep cleaning on turnover days as well as doing refreshes and turndowns on regular days. Other tasks may be assigned by the Housekeeping Manager. In country H-2B workers will be considered for this position.
Property Staff
MAINTENANCE

The Property Staff must be friendly and welcoming as they have direct contact with Members. Knowledge of boats, motors and fishing is helpful. You must be able to back up boat trailers to launch Member private boats. You will also be required to do the the following tasks as well as any other jobs as assigned by the Maintenance Director: Install and remove docks, swim raft and buoys; cleaning and maintaining club boats; clean and package fish; maintain grounds around dock areas; keep bait stocked; clean minnow and sucker tanks; and help staff in other areas when needed. In country H-2B workers will be considered for this position.
Groundskeepers

Grounds keepers are responsible for maintaining the property grounds and keeping the property neat and tidy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Blowing, raking and removing leaves and pine needles; picking up sticks and pine cones; mowing and trimming grass around the property including at the outlying lakes; cleaning and raking beach areas; blowing and cleaning roads; pulling weeds around cabins and playground areas; maintain volleyball, basketball, tennis and bocce ball courts; and any other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
Cabin Attendants

Cabin Attendants are responsible for cabin and picnic area maintenance. This includes, but is not limited to the following duties: Removing and disposing of garbage and recycling; cleaning cabin fireplaces, grills and picnic area grills; stocking fire wood at cabins, picnic areas, outlying lakes and fire pits; any other duties as assigned by Maintenance Director.
Servers

Servers will have direct interaction with our Members so they must have a positive, friendly and welcoming demeanor. Dairymen’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in two separate lodges which may result in split shifts. Servers’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Effectively communicating Member’s orders to the kitchen using a Point of Sale system; serving complete food and beverage orders; announcing daily specials for each meal period; maintaining table cleanliness; clearing, scraping and expediting dish area; maintaining dining room cleanliness during service; setting up and breaking down dining room before and after each service period; communicating with Dining Room Manager and Chef any special needs for Members; following any required health and sanitation mandates; any other tasks as assigned. In country H-2B workers will be considered for this position.  
Recreation Department
MAINTENANCE

Dairymen’s maintains an active Recreation Department which is responsible for activities and outdoor education for our youngest Members. These activities include but are not limited to the following: Arts and crafts; field trips; boat rides; nature hikes and walks; canoe trips; cookouts; any other activities or tasks as assigned.
Front Desk Attendants

The Front Desk Attendant is a first point of contact position for Members. They must have a warm, friendly and welcoming personality and be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Their duties include but are not limited to: Selling fishing licenses; making reservations for boats and picnic areas; checking Members in and out of their cabins; process billing at the end of Members stay; cash handling and billing adjustments; apparel and merchandise sales; effectively communicate Member’s needs to other departments; answer phones and emails; any other duties as assigned.
Baker
FOOD SERVICE

$18.00 / hour
The Baker is responsible for making breakfast breads and pastries as well as cookies, bars and desserts for dinner. Baking is fairly simple and would include quick breads, muffins, pastries, cookies, bars, cakes and pies. You must be able to work in high volume and be independent, maintain a neat and clean work space and follow any health and safety mandates. Additional duties may be assigned by the Chef or Sous Chef.
Laundry Attendant
HOUSEKEEPING

$16.00 / hour
Duties include but not limited to all facets of laundering linens for the Member Cabins and working with Housekeeping daily to ensure proper levels of clean linens. Laundry facility is on site and operates 8 hours per day, 7 days per week. Shift times will vary.
