Job Summary
Teyseer Services Company is currently seeking a highly experienced Location Manager / Unit Manager to oversee all aspects of catering operations under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and proven experience in managing catering operations. This role is responsible for achieving high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining employee morale, and delivering financial objectives aligned with company strategies, procedures, and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and control catering operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure food production and service are delivered on time, meeting agreed standards and client expectations.
- Coordinate workflow between kitchen, service, and support teams for smooth operations.
- Optimise manpower, equipment, and resources to maximise productivity and reduce waste.
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Ensure strict adherence to recipes, production methods, and portion standards.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP and local regulations.
- Identify staff training needs and coordinate development programmes with senior management.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and engagement.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma / Certification in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in catering operations management (preferably in catering companies).
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a remote and challenging environment.
